Lovely bird. I love the bright yellow. This would have done great in the yellow contest. Nice clear picture that shows all the wonderful detail of the Goldfinch. Could not look nicer.

Nice composition. The colors throughout are complimentary of one another, that green background really does helps accentuate the birds colors. Overall lighting is good, however tome it would have been a better image if the eye were seen with more definition.

I didn't know all that when I first brought this photo up. It caught my eye because of the beautiful yellow color of the Goldfinch and the excellent close-up, tack sharp image.
