I really like the painterly aspects of this work as they are bold and dynamically painted, in colour and texture,
Also quite like the top right mask although it is not painted like the other two and tends to have a different feel,
Not sure about adding the photo of the boy, as the visual style is too different from the painting?
Good drama and storymaking,
The mixed media approach didn't work completely (photographic blend
Good overall.

Thank you very much for your review. You are right. As I wrote in my comments the picture is not finished jet, It is a work in process. I simply run out of time with the contest.

You have been very creative in the use of different masks demonstrating the differing faces of evil and the hands demonstrating that anyone would fit that image. The face of the boy to represents good and innocence he looks bewildered as he tries to look beyond the masks. Lovely work.

You certainly seem to have suffered for your art here! I find your your use of masks very apt for this challenge. They do, in my mind, confirm, that it is very easy for people to slip from one to another usually in full knowledge of what they are doing. Only the very young are innocent of this. Very nice work that you have presented here. Well done and best of luck in your contest!

very theatrical and thought provoking ...I like that ..very nicely composed and thought out ...interesting how you , I assume , holding the masks have interpreted the forces we all have to fight sometimes ..with the boy , the symbol of the innocence ..this is really worth the effort ..fantastic work ! and good luck !!
