Wow...you take the most amazing bird shots! I love the stop action of the little hummingbird in mid air! Great focus, framing and light! Nice work!

Thank you so very much! I pick aspot and wait for them to fly into it! The only way to get them, or at least that is what I did!

Excellent shot that captures movement and grace. Your commitment to the job is highly commendable, and your ability to stay the distance in pursuit of the perfect shot is admirable. Keep it up.

Darn right they are hard to get. I have not gotten a useable photograph yet. Your persistence pay off. This is a great photograph. I like the color of the bird and you have captured them well in this photograph. The blackness of the background really brings the colors of the bird out. With the wings blurred a bit the viewer can get a real sense on how fast those wings move per second, because even at 1500 hundreds of a second you still couldn't stop action those winds. Really great position you caught the bird in, making this photo have great impact. Wonderfully done Willie. Very enjoyable.

Comments: A cyber 6.0 coming your way. This is about as good a shot that I have seen of hummingbirds on FAR. The bird with the exception of a tiny blur in the wings has been caught perfectly stop motion. The blur does not take away from the picture. These guys are incredibly hard to capture because they move so fast. I have not had any luck capturing hummingbirds. Good DOF. Great composition. I am glad you left the bird room to move in. Thanks for not cropping so tightly this little fella would have become panicked from the small space. You are an incredible bird photographer. Thanks for sharing.
