This is a good entry in the color blue contest. I am not familiar with the indigo bunting, so I am glad that you introduced me to something new. The focus is sharp. Ypu have a nice neutral background to show off the bird.

This is a nice shot of the bunting. The feather detail is captured nicely. I like the constant green background that provides a nice backdrop but is not distracting. You must have been reasonably close...? Bird shots are hard, especially of the small ones because they are so fast. The overall effect of just having part of the bird in the photo works well in this case. I am always trying to work on my bird photography and this is a good example. Thanks for showing it.

They remind me of our gold finches.
They molt all their yellow colored feathers to become gray drab looking.

Very nice composition - great eye location! Sharp except for the far right (posing at an angle). Very nice colouring and balance! Perhaps crop/clone out that blurry spot at bottom right. Good luck

Good coloring and detail on the Bunt, you know some say birds are a direct descendent from dinosaurs which makes them even cooler. Youâ??re out of focus background allows you eye full view of the cute little fella.
