Different however that's about all that can be said. There really isn't anything here at all and to me just a waste of time nom both our parts.

I think this works really well for the contest. Great use of shutter speed and I like your composition and cropping. It tells a great story. Good luck with it.

Very effectively captures the moment. The rule of thirds has worked well here to keep the focus point off center to the right ( with a nice splash of color) and the motion in the upper two thirds. The sharpness is spot on (1/30 I assume was on a tripod). Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest. /john

This is an interesting shot.I would like to call it a metaphor for life. How we spend time waiting for something or he other as time flies by. Simple composition, natural colours and good execution makes this first rate.Good luck in the contest!

I think this is a very good entry for the contest and you have understood so well what it was all about. I actually voted for this one. This is a very good example of motion blur where the focal point is sharp.
The sign is pin sharp and I like very much that you placed off to one side within the frame. The exposure is also fine even if the gravel at the bottom of your image is pretty close to over exposure.
I like the lines in the background caused by the moving train and the nice colors appearing for the same reason. I also like the simplicity which is still very effective. I think this is a well taken photo. Your image is nicely balanced and with excellent DOFF. Good luck with the contest.

This is an awesome picture - I've been meaning to try something similar (fast motion with a still object) - you nailed it! The composition is great - I like that the sign is off center, but not too close to the top. Great use of thirds, great exposure. Nice work!
