Fantastic shot! The details are amazing! The bird's beak is so vibrant and shiny. What I really like is the fall off of light on the right side. It allows the bird's beak and eye to be the true focal point. Thanks for sharing :) Joan

Willie, this is a very dramatic shot of your 'Girl Friend'. I really like the crisp focus and colour, although it may be just a little dark...although the darkness does accentuate the red beak. I also like the bird's curious expression which adds interest to the photo. Well done.

Really nice mood in this image, the darkness works well. Detail is a pleasure to view, a little more depth for a sharper beak would be awesome but I see you were probably at your limit with shutter speed. Higher ISO? Color rendition and eye contact create much impact. Thanks for the opportunity to review your work.

This is a very clear photo, the colors and contrasts are beautifully shot, a very natural photo. The artist has captured the spirit of the bird in her eye. The picture relates a calm scene, and must have taken some patience to achieve. The eye is drawn instantly to the red beak and on up to the birds soft eye.
