This is an amazing picture the way you were able to take it so close up. The detail you see in both is fantastic. I like the way you have the light on them too. The dark background sure lakes them show up. Just an exceptional picture. Good luck in the contest.

Fantastic macro! Think I like the flower even more than the butterfly. It's unusual and you can see great definition in every stamen. Nice dark background complements and brings out the subject. A worthy winner!

This is magnificent. It is almos otherworldly. The detailin the flower seems to glow. You also got great detail in the butterfly. I love the background color as well. All of the elements to make a stunning picture is right in front of my eyes.

I see many shots of insects or other 'bugs' on flowers but this is one of the better ones. A great use of techno elements such as background, colour, composition, lighting and DOF...all coming together.
