Excellent colors, shadows of blue in the white winters feel, land and sky. The center of interest has unique impact. The colors picked up in the branches add framing and interest. I like the technique and creativity. It holds my attention for impact and texture. Beautiful work.

I like this image a great deal but wish you had given some details as to how you created this. What software did you use for example? The snow drifts look like snow drifts and the sky looks like a sky laden with more snow to fall. I can feel the coldness and also see movement as the branches bend in the wind. The birds are beautiful. Abstract but with definition so immediately the viewer can see they are birds. Very creative. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you ever so much, Sue. Sorry about the notes. I had to hurry when I first posted it, so didn't get a chance to write anything. So you won't have to go back and look, I use Paint Shop Pro. It's 90% digital painting with a soft foil emboss in the overlay mode. Hope that helps :) Again, thank you! :)

It's put out by Corel if you want to look into it, and most all of Photoshops plugins and filters work with it. :)

An iteresting piece of work. I like th composition of it with the main focus of attention in the birds being above centre and to the right. The textured background is quite effective to portay the snow and cold.

I know others don't agree with me on this but I rate images on my personal tastes (after tech details) and it isn't a 5 in my eyes.
