Wow this is beautiful. This would make a beautiful Christmas Card. Love the detail in the front tree. The deer give this a feeling of movement. Beautiful setting and composition. Lovely. Wonderful job.

Such a beautiful image you have created here. I just love all the different effects that you used as well as the simplicity of the three creatures. Love it!

Beautiful. Love the muted background colors drawing the eyes forward to the animals. Their darkness against the lighter snow really makes them stand out.The tree in the right front draws you farther out. This is perfection. Only have 5 stars to give, but this deserves more.

Thank you ever so much for the beautiful comments, RO. And thank you for the thought on the 6. I realize that not many have them in the middle of the week. I see that you are from Bishop. I used to live in Lee Vining, and we'd have to drive down to Bishop all the time to go to the movies or to shop at the bigger stores. Beautiful country up there. I've seen recent pictures of Mono Lake, and it has really dried up a lot. Again, thank you for this!! :)shawn

Hello Shawn, nice to hear from you.Yes,sad to say Mono is not what it once was.It is still beautiful but less lake than there used to be.Bishop hasn't changed much. I like it like that.

Very good initial impact.
Gives the feeling of cold and winter. Could see this as a wall hanging in a cabin.
Good framing and depth.
Great detail and definition of the elk and trees.
Very well done.

It is hand painted, Lyncia. Only digitally. :) Thank you ever so much for the wonderful review. Very very much appreciated.

The trees are magnificently done. It must be difficult for these elk to forage when snow covers the ground. I really like the muted colors. This should be a seasonal greeting card.

Very lovely creation of a Winter scene. Beautiful composition with the snow storm coloring everywhere white while the animals are trying to find a way to pass the snow covered patio.. İ like the porcelain like look of this overall image

Very pretty image showing a winter's scene. I like the framing with the tree in the foreground, right hand side. That has lots of interest as well as darker tones highlighted by the whiteness of the snow. Although there is a great deal of white in this image, it is appealing because there are so many tones. The deer really stand out against the white snow and they add another diamension.

Very calm and serene looking. I love the sky and snow. I like the effects in the sky. I especially like the tree in the forefront, frames this nicely. Your deer are perfect! Great digital skills.
Thanks, levon7
