Good idea, or the little darling would of caused a scene for funniest home videos when the father carried her out screaming.

nice photograph of two young people participating in a wedding. the red crimson is out understanding and really adds a lot of passion and character to the two young people. i like the uses of black in the background to bring out the shapes of the figures, and reinforces the young girls gown. making it clear highly visible to the viewer. very nice photograph with a pleasant touch of class.

This is a very pleasant image. My father was a leading wedding photographer and I have always marvelled at the skill required to carry out this role well. I appreciate that it is not always possible to set shots up perfectly. I would suggest that there are two problems with this image. First is that the young man blends into that dark doorway... Better separation from the background is needed. Also, you have the age old problem of metering in this shot; either you expose for the white dress which results in an underexposed suit on the young man or you expose for detail in those shadows and over-expose the dress. I appreciate that you might have more detail in the suit in your original because FAR uploaded image quality is lousy and usually too dark. I apologise if this is the case.

Thank you! I was using a flash. I know how to use metering outside without flash but have no idea how with it. I am going to work on the background but not sure how to separate unless I change all the background.

That was a very good idea to let her this way as she certainly felt very close to the divine and that feeling does not like shoes LOL - she is very dedicated with her flowers and takes it serious and he is proud walking beside her - what a cute and nice picture - certainly a never forgettable memory shot - well framed - great DOF - good camera settings - well centered - good contrast - very nice
