Fred,
A beautiful picture of le chateau de Fontainebleau with the evening light giving a golden glow to the facades that are reflected in the ponds of the formal garden in front of this historic & beautiful palace. Beautiful composition, lighting & framing. Taken with skill & superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

Wow Fred! I love this picture. Looks like a tapestry that would have hung on the walls of that castle. Great lighting with the golden rays of the setting sun. Amazing shot!

They certainly lived in palatial properties. I like your wideangle shot and its placed nicely ind the frame. Good fore, middleground and background, showing the lighting on the building.

Well done. Appropriate choice of an elongated format, like the castle and the constructions on the bottom that add interest with their reflections. Nice unsaturated colors give a nice calm feeling. Good lighting and exposure, sharp, nice vertical and horizontals.
Technically good, nice visual impression.

No wonder the French revolted when they saw their royalty living like this while they starved! What a place and the grounds are amazing with all the fountains. Excellent photo Fred and it looks like all the wealth of France went into running this place for the Kings. Nice shot and thanks for sharing it.

A very good play of exposure control. The foreground and building getting different cast of light makes this picture not a typical architecture shot. Points the viewer right to the building. Then adding the element of reflections makes it even more dramatic. The depth of field is excellent as well as the rule of thirds.
