Looks like a Collie but not an expert on dogs. These are used mainly as sheep dogs in the UK. Very good painting of what I think is a Collie. Like the position of the dog's head on the canvas plus the colours you have used in the background. The eyes are very realistic, as is the nose and particularly the mouth and teeth. Well executed and thanks for sharing.

A good portrait of a faithful dog. Caught a lively expression in the eyes and the little teeth are perfect. Love the background colors gives a good 3d effect. Very well done.

A brilliant painting of Polly your daughter's Collie type dog with her ears held up as if asking you a question & waiting for an answer, her eyes looking straight into yours with trusting loyalty, her mouth open with a "smile", her wet nose shining. She looks so real I feel I should be able to stretch out & stroke her. Your brushwork choice of colours & their application is perfect.
