Comment from Life is but a dream.
Before I opened this I just knew it was your work MoonWillow. You are one fine creative digital artist on this site.
Green, the colour of life, nature, healing. It is the colour that harmonizes our energies, and a colour most humans feel comfortable with as it brings out a sense of peace within us.
The weeping willow brings many memories to people, for me it is of China where they grow by river banks and so your art has evoked a memory and an emotion.
Water lilies on a green pond with that distant tree in the background give further visual delight with patterns that have a cadence and helps the image to pop. Deeper into the plane other purple hydrangea (I'm guessing) to distant shrubs.
This art is a study of tonal qualities of the colour green. It is simple and strong with a strong message to us reminding us that we are the caretakers of this planet and we need to respect it and care for it the way nature takes care of us.
Always a pleasure to view your creativity.

Isn't it odd that almost everyone has some sort of memory tied to a willow tree! We had a huge one in our yard when I was younger, and I felt like I was leaving an old friend behind when we had to move. LOL. Thank you ever so much for the beautiful review, LD!! :)MW

Lovely shades of green in the whole image. There is a fairyland feel with all the soft shades. Creative composition and nice textures and shapes. WELL DONE

Another masterpiece, my friend. The willows are always lovely, but you have taken it to a magical level of both its weeping beauty and shades of green. Perfectly placed within the foreground of the composition and off center so that we look through it to the rest of very serene landscape scene. That very small distant tree is a neat counterbalance to the willow and helps achieve such wonderful perspective. The water lilies and other flowers add just the right touch of color within all the green and make a nice pathway between the two trees. Totally top notch and good luck in the contest.

this too a lot of perfection and a lot of time making it the perfect painting. I remember playing house under one. Or a castle taken over by vines and nno one can see me. I love the colors...all the green.

I wish that I had a 6 left to give this awesome painting!! Love the Weeping Willow tree and the lovely green you have used to create it. The sky is also a beautiful green and is a stunning compliment to the tree. I love the little lily pads!!Also love the little tree in the background. It brings depth to the painting because it leads you back to the beautiful mountains in the foggy mist.
I cannot fault this piece in anyway. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing piece!

If I had a six left this would get one. Excellent contest entry. Yes it has a lot of shades of green. Than in the water you have some yellow lilies. Excellent

What a beautiful artwork. The colour and perspective you play here are enjoyable. It is just like waiting for the sun arises in a rainy season. "Good Morning green world!" Good luck for the contest. Well done.

I do not normally comment on this type of work as I no little about how its done but felt this time I would as I like it. Very effective, nicely done and in good balance. The tree taking two thirds of the frame I feel works very well. The different greens work and then the odd coloured flower and water Lillie's just breaking it up.
