You drew this utilizing a pencil only, which I must admit, is amazing
The hands are so real. It feels as if I could reach out, touch them and perhaps give them an honest handshake.
The item (or should I say the two items) I am having somewhat of a problem with are 1) the mouth and 2) the nose.
Glancing at the drawing, the mouth, its upper left lip is somehow a bit off and glancing at the nose, if the intention was to have its normal two nostrils, the intention did not succeed, for all I see is one rounded nostril type cylindrical shape filled with a hollowness.
I by no means want to sadden you by my remarks. Nor do I mean any disrespect. I am having somewhat of a difficult time trying to explain what I see and what should be shown.
I will take a look at it again in a few days and see if I look at it differently. If I do, I will add to this review. Overall pretty good with good intentions over all.

My goodness, what a review. No only one nostril is supposed to be showing, the head is turned away from the light. The lip is in shadow. Your Critiquing is harsh. But thank you for giving your honest opinion.

I will look at it again in a few days time as I indicated in my Review. Now with your reply I know exactly what it should be; therefore, when I LOOK AT IT AGAIN, I will go a little deeper and provide hopefully an more indepth yet less harsh of a critique.

Yes, one light brings hope, and fear dissipates.
The hands clasping for the light have a magnificent draw on the eye and the fact you obscured the eyes of the subject brings tremendous mystery. This piece has been drawn by someone who is well honed in their craft (I think I know who you are by your visual signature). You are a star on this site.
Drawn to dimensional perfection, it's full of story, there is a message and this piece causes us to linger longer on it for all the compositional elements you have included.
