Who is surprised here! He or you! His swide open eyes look funny!:) A fine wild life shot of the good old grey owl! The soft colours, clarity and the composition have worked well. Thanks for sharing!

I Wonder whether the owl is more surprised to see you or to see the snow; I'm Always fascinated by their mesmerizing look; excellent monochrome shot;

Such an amazing image of the Great Grey Owl in the light snowfall - the composition is excellent and the color is very natural. Excellent sharp focus.

Pat,
It is absolutely beautiful,& with the snow falling around it very atmospheric it's golden eyes watching you closely from it's perch on what looks like an impossibly thin branch to bear it's weight. It's plumage almost blending in with the colours of it's background but with your camera settings it stands out in razor sharp focus. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Very nice photograph of the owl that is getting cold with this an another storm. The eye contact and color in this shot are great. The blurred background is interesting with the falling snowflakes.

I love this shot. The cropping is excellent and the paucity of color makes his eyes all the more penetrating. The falling snow is fantastic and the owl is surprisingly sharp.

An excellent nature photo presented here! Your fine and traditional composition offers us a good look at your owl and it's bitter looking location. Feel sorry for it in those harsh looking conditions. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!
