This is incredible. Beautiful flowers in subtle light. The color attracts the eye immediately. The lighting is perfect for this picture. I love the way the foreground is in deep shadow and you can see the slight touches of color through it. I really love this. You did an excellent job.

Outstanding piece of art Shawn. Brilliant color choices and your decision on lighting just really makes these flowers leap off the screen. I like the addition of smaller flowers underneath the larger bouquet. Very well done.

Beautiful tones and shades. The light falls perfectly. I also like the touches of green. This would make an absolutely beautiful card! Donkeyoatey

First I was thinking it is the light of the full moon. It's just as the light in the tropics when the night seams almost day but has this magical silver touch and the coolness of the night. The Moon Flowers seam to gleam in it like your Lilies.
But when I look long enough I see my mistake and the sunlight through the trees.
Your excellent picture reminds me of a style around 1910/1920 they called 'Jugendstile' in Germany. [Mucha was one of the artists] I don't know a English name for it. Your picture looks like a stained glass window done in this stile. I think it looks very beautiful,

Thank you so much, Cleo. I did look up the artist you mentioned. The only Mucha I found was Alphonse Mucha, and most of his works were very pretty girls all dressed fancy and with tons of flowers in each painting. Beautiful work, but I wasn't sure this was the right artist. I loved this one's paintings though, and spent an lot of time browsing through his work. Again, thank you for the super review :)

Yes Alphonse thats the one. Right he is mostly known for its girls but there are other posters too. Most the time he had these flowers wrapped around the girls our somewhere in the picture. It's a wile ago that I saw the windows. I think it was in the late 70's,Budapest, Hungary
I was told they had reproduced a Mucha painting for it. It was a round window in three parts a girl in the middle with the flowers below. But I admit It could have been an adaption. I don't know if the building survived the devastating earthcrake it was just in the old part of the city what was devastated.
Anyway when I saw your picture this window came in my mine.

Beautiful color of these flowers. I like your composition here and the very vibrant colors also. These colors are soft and still jump out at the viewer to be seen.
