Wonderful digital artwork. Best of luck in the contest!! There is excellent detail and good depth throughout this piece. I love your blending of the seas and sky and the sharp clarity of the sailboat. Shirley

I have the theme song for "Gilliagin's Island" playing in my head now! You have a story line in this dramatic piece for sure! Your medium choice has been used well to give detail and "flow" to not only the water but to the rolling clouds above! You have a water body that looks COLD and it looks as though the little boat will have a tough time here with those waves! I like your attention to detail with the people in the boat-one hanging on with his arm overboard and the other facing him -they look like they could be talking about how they plan to make it out of this in one piece! I also like the way that even in a stormy piece you have used light well and the shadow under the boat supports that-it helps to give your artwork depth and make it that much more eye appealing. Good luck in the contest!

This is very appealing! I like the different techniques you used for this. Love how the water and sky continue at the horizon! Lovely drama in the mist. The boat is magical..the sails have very pretty light. Beautiful, good luck in the contest. Gena

You have certainly captured a stormy scene, the big waves, the fog and low hanging clouds. Having been caught out on the water is storms this image makes be feel anxious and fearful. Your sailors look like they have things under control. I like the light in the sails and details in the waves. You have captured movement in the water. Good luck in the contest. Tom
