It's actually beautiful with the deep reds at the bottom and then the yellow-green at the top. The shapes (the wall in silhouette and buildings some how illuminated) has a kind of modern mixed with ancient feeling. Actually the first thing it made me think of the Christmas, that is, Jerusalem at the time of Christ, but then we have all these extra planets in the sky.
I guess even if you put another story to it we will always relate what we see to things we already know even if the comparison is totally wrong.

You know, Farmboy, that's why I really don't like writing anything regarding a painting. I like to hear what it means to others, and everyone sees something different. But there are some reviewers who will give a low rating if nothing is written, which to me has nothing to do with the art itself :) I thank you so very very much for the super review. This is a very other worldly looking creation Shawn. It looks like anadvertisement for a Sci Fi Movie where the other planets are coming too close and you have the priest praying for our salvation lol. Nicely done!

Your artwork is always very enticing--even this graveyard scene. I don't know what the difference is between photoshop and paintshop, but whatever you're doing--it's working:).
Love the sky the best, especially with that solitary star--and the colour of it is beautiful. You've got quite the imagination.

That came out very nice. It's simple but at the same time very interesting and well done. I like the colors and architecture. Sky with all those planets looks really good. I see few faults in blending here and there but they aren't major. Good job. Thank you for sharing. =)

Nice idea, color and composition! On an alien planet where the stars seem so close that they seem to float like ghostly beings in the a mysterious sunset. Dark outlines of the strange structures slice the sky.The central blue glow catch my eye and contrast as well as balances the whole picture. Thanks for sharing!
