Wow - painting like this is nice. I like how you've worked the lights and darks and the one single Eagle (or any bird) - I like Eagles,
Initial impact: Captivating, draws the viewer in
Creativity of presentation: nicely presented like the three dimensional feel
Color Harmony: b/w balanced
Center of Interest: Eagle and white portion
Technical Excellence: above average
Technique: Mixed
Story Telling Ability: a single bird hunting looking for dinner from high above

It's a good digital painting. In fact, it looks like a monochrome photograph. Good details on the spruce trees and the clouds above. The reflection in water lightens the foreground just enough to separate it from the dark shadows of the trees. I believe the fisherman bird is staking out for its catch!

Very lovely effect of the silhouetted evergreen trees and the bird in flight. The photo is well balanced on each side--the lighting is just lovely--colors of the sky show the perfect lighting effect for the photo. Very well done, as this is a lovely landscape scene that evokes a calm effect while viewing.

The whole thing is lacking something to make it pop but I am sorry I cannot help you with what would improve this

This is simply good. There's a calmness at the surface and turmoil in the sky at the same time and the bird can see both. I would hang this somewhere I spend time thinking.

Oh my, this is marvelous! The tranquil scene is wonderful with the muted colors and the bird flying. The only quibble I have is that some of the trees look repetitive. Overall, it is a very nice image. Good job.
