Incredible work of art. Very realistic first impression. Color blend and play of light is so clever. Great subject choice and very creative. Love your techniques very much.

Good creation,I especially like the little purple striped angelfish-the lighting is good as it filters from the top tot he bottom- nice shadowing on the bottom -good detail in the vines-good initial impact-

Great work Shawn!
This would look awesome painted as a large mural.
The muted coloring of the whale really enhances the underwater look.

Thank you so much for the fabulous review, David. Each time I do a piece, I put it as wallpaper on my monitor so I can get a good look at it before it post it, and this is one time I wish I had painted it larger. Again, thank you so very much :) Shawn

It's really an Orca, Cathal, but for such a fabulous review and rating, I'm sure not going to argue with you...LOL. Thank you so very very much :) I had aquariums at one time too, but it got to be too big a hastle taking care of them. Loved to watch them though. Very soothing. Again, thank you so much for this :) Shawn

Got the columns...but no statues. Columns are in the background :) Thanks a million for the great review, DonQ. Probably need to do some research on Atlantis to see what kind of statues the had...if anyone really knows for sure. LOL. Again, thank you! :) Shawn

This is wonderful Shawn! I love the concept and the colours you have used to have the water present as it does. The bit of beam of light from the surface is awesome the way it is beaming down around the whale. Nicely done with the overall of the presentation for this. Excellent detail and very unique!
