The photo has good action. It is nicely focused with good detail. The lighting is good and the contrast is very nice.

Very epic photo. Well done with avoiding all the motion blur and creating this colourful, well lit shot. Good work and getting up early too (I hate mornings lol). Great use of the rule of thirds. Lovely!

Thank you so very much! Mornings is the best part of the day! I usually get up around 3:30 AM drink coffee and when the sun comes up I'm ready!

Thank you so very much! No I did not see any herons but I sure saw a bunch of people! Makes this old country boy glad to be home here in Yelvington Ky. One store and a few houses!

Thank you so very much! This shot the reflection was cut off but I have a few more with him in flight and the reflection is very clear!

This is a good stop action capture. The heron looks realy graceful. The heron is in a great position for the shot. The focus is good. The colors are good. The lighting is good. There is some glare on the water, but it is not excessive.
