this is a nice shot it is bold and direct this work has great detail it is a clean and clear piece that has nice color and texture i love the dark areas it adds drama and mood it has focus and tells a story nice job

You definitely did a lot better than I would have. I like that the background is pitch black, and think the leaf helps a lot wit the quality. Great contrast, color, angle, macro and storyline.

I know just how you feel about posting insects on here! Good strong composition, the diagonal is interesting and pulls the eye. Good colors. Focus is sharp and clear. Light is a little strong on his back.

This is a good hot annie .. you just weren't lucky enough to get a better one ./. i have to admit that some of the "bug shots" on here have been really super .. i think if this little guy had been facing you you might have been more satisfied with your shot .. can you rotate it:-) good job anyhow .. jill
