She looks sweet and a bit sad perhaps. A dew single dew drop like a tear on her petal. Maybe she is banned into the rose by a evil wizard and now waits for her lover who could break the spell. But maybe she is the Rose from Oscar Wildes fairy tale; grown from the blood and sacrifice of the Nightingale.
However, her beauty seems magical and her impressive eyes seem to look at the viewer, questioning to understand her story.

Really like the black and green background , setting your subject up well. Your color of red is rich and deep and if a flower had a face this is just how I imagine it would look, love the light in the eyes and the rosebud mouth. Interesting and enjoyable piece.

She is absolutely gorgeoue. This is very inspirational. The lighting and shadowing is perfect. Very good storytelling. It reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, and the Gunslinger series.
The only thing I would do different is aim her face slightly to the right (Our left) and maybe add another vine in front of the petals with some wicked looking thorns on it. Love is a rose after-all.
