What a great tribute to a great artist and such an interesting piece both in storyline and rendition. Great design showing strength and determination in the character which you are conveying, Mino Yasue , In this case. Fabulous work MK, I'm sure she will be thrilled!

A stunning tribute to an artist of pure excellence on this site.
BUT you are also a talented sharpie artist whose images impact us viewers. I have to tell you this, but when coursing down the river of "to review" images every time your art pops up I feel like I've hit a refreshing oasis in a desert of butterflies and flowers.
This image is no exception. It's strong, vibrant and looks to me like a lot of work went into this. I love the whirls of colourful spins for that is how Mino's images make me feel but also your images also set my mind to spinning. Oh, and you have a wonderful sense of humor....humor and talent is a rare package. I am so glad you are here on FAR.

First the idea is great, the tribute. Colors are strong which is in keeping with the tribute. The samurai Mino being born from a cyclone or bulls-eye of color has great expressive and inspirational appeal. Sure and confident strokes of the sharpie match the strong character in the tribute. Love the hair flying in the wind of the colorful cyclone. Nice one!
