Your painting is beautiful. To take a memory and put it on canvas is a special and unique privilege. As I look at it I can hear the waves lap up on the shore and see the little sea birds run up and down the beach. Memories are a good thing and only get better when we share them with family.

You are brave to paint the ocean. Your waves are great with the foam on top. I don't paint water too well, that's why I say that. Your colors are great and very pretty shades of blue and a little bit of purple. Very nice painting.

What a very attractive painting! I live on the banks of a canal and have lived overlooking rivers or by the sea most of my live, so seascapes appeal to me greatly. There is great movement in this work as the waves rush towards the shore. Some have lost their power and lap gently and others come rushing in, high with lots of energy. I like the overall energy you have captured with this work.

Suzanne All of my posts are photographs but I was struct by this painting. You duplicated this scene on the canvas so well. The ocean is one of my favorite things in all aspects.you managed to capture the breaking waves so well. Nice Job.

A very moving ocean image - great detail work on the waves- realistic style , seems we can just hold the hand out an feel the water - very well composed I can perfectly imagine this work on a wall in a beautiful frame - great color combination, super splashes, great creative skills on simple objects - great job

Suzanne you have painted wonderful detail and texture into these waves, and shown their color well as they crash against the shore. Very nice detail and clarity in the water around the rock. Nicely done and well lighted.
