Great title for this work. I guess we all get to feel the way you do something in our like sometimes. I want to say this is beautiful, just pretty will have to do.

This is a very strong impact of the Yucatan girl getting married at age 15 to a 60+ landlord. Evidently she survived the ordeal because she was able to have children. Your picture shows great technical expertise in both painting and mixed media. I think you are very talented.

This is exquisite. You have captured the feeling of one of the portrait masters. I love how the two programs have blended together.The colors of the flowers are so appropriate. There is a dreamy, old fashioned mood to your composition. I can easily see how this technique could be commercialized to those wanting a very special portrait of a loved one. Very well done.

Thank you so much for your exellent review. You are absolutely right with all you say and I'm very happy you saw it in the picture. I wasn't sure if it comes out right.
She is indeed in some sort of wedding. I arranged wedding with a much older man she don't know. So in fact she is concerned and her mind is not there. [It's a true story. It's in my comments in case you are interested]

It was far from critic that I mentioned the comments. I just mentioned the story may to read afterward because it is so much what you saw and for the case you want to know how right you were.

wonderfully emotional photo and artwork. I like the strokes, the colors that harmonize toghter, her hair and the look upon her face. it has a good story to it and shows creativity. its a nicely centered composition and gives her a little space to stare into. the flowers have good texture. nice job!

Well done, the image carries a strong resemblence to impressionists, E. Manet comes to mind.
Image is an excellent excersize in the use of color and light that the impressionists excelled in. Good composition.
Not sure that I like the image of the grand daughter in the background.

Thank you a lot. I wasn't thinking of impressionists when I did it but they were somewhere in my head indeed since I love them. Both pictures are the granddaughter I had her doubled in the background for the shadows guess there was a surrealist looking over my shoulder as well. I have a docent or so versions of this picture until i was halfway satisfied. The vision in the background came in late but somehow it seamed to me it was just what I had missed and I was looking for for a long time.
