This is great MoonWillow.It does look like the body of a leopard lying against the poppys.The flowers are bright and really calls attention to them,yet the background is also eye catching.Really beautiful piece!

I agree with your interpretation. The pattern in the background does remind me of an animal print. Very good design. Love the lighting. The poppies are wonderful. Good details. It has good impact and is a joy to view. Well done. Love the colors.

These are by far the best looking poppies I have seen.. I grow them in my garden but now I guess I need a leopard skin cloth to hang behind them!..
The "leopard "skin look and the Oriental poppy are a natural fit for form and color. The unopened buds add to this as well. Great use of the negative space..Very nice viewing...Dennis

Ok, you squeezed the last 6 star out of my treasure chest. I don't give those out easily, but this piece surely deserves it. "WOW!"
I love this NOT only because the flowers are well done...but the creative background behind them is beautifully done and I so enjoy the way the VALUE VARIATION cascades upward.
Beautiful and the lighting is awesome.

Now you know me. I don't give out the great reviews lightly...but when I see and feel them as I look at what I consider OUTSTANDING work... I rate accordingly.
