You sure put in a lot of work to get this beautiful rose photo. Looks like it was worth it. A tip, when you need little light sources in macro work like this, take those mirrors you broke and cut them up into little pieces. You can prop them up with modeling clay and reflect the light anywhere you want it. Play with it, it works. Thanks for sharing your project.

This is an excellent photograph I really like the way you used the light to play up the features of the rose and make it so dramatic. You forgot to mention in your excellent comments, the addition of the water droplets which complete the scene. Excellent photography. Dave

Very well done. You did so many wonderful things to make this come out well. And it did. It is so very expressive. I love the light and shadowing. The background makes a very good contrast. The reflection is good. The drops of water add significantly. Very nice.
