This is a fantastic photograph and I wish I could give more as this warrants at least a 6, great colors and tones,great depth and details are fabulous with not a feather out of place.

Very pleasing image to see and excellent capture. Very nice color, great focus and DOF. I might have removed the people in the bg. But I do like the BG being out of focus. Good texture, nice technique and a very nice image showing his concentration. TY

I've taken a lot of shots of Great Blue herons and seen a lot of shots of Great Blue Herons by other photographers, but this beats them all! I love how you brought out the beautiful colors in this bird. Your lighting and focus is sensational. If I had a six it would be yours.

I've taken a lot of shots of Great Blue herons and seen a lot of shots of Great Blue Herons by other photographers, but this beats them all! I love how you brought out the beautiful colors in this bird. Your lighting and focus is sensational. If I had a six it would be yours.

Thank you so very much! He tried two times (which I have shots of) but got no fish. Directly behind him is a road. Across the road is another lake. After failing ehe second time he walked to the other lake and finaly flew away! I still see this guy I have tried to get other shots but none this close!
