WOW,could you not get it to sit on the lens,it looks as though it as a tattoo on it's head,the wings and hairs show up well also.

This is an excellent capture of this interestingly shaped insect. Lighting and focus excellent showing great detail in the fine markings of the wings. I like the angle you caught him at with the shadows showing on the leaf. Very good composition.
