A very unique and elegant approach to this Blue Heron Portrait. This would be great molded and chrome plated for a hood element on a vintage automobile. I would have cropped from the left a little and make just one graceful curve in the neck of the heron, but this is also very well done just as it is.

It is exciting when for some reason you get to get real close. I love this shot,the colors are lovely and the background really works on this bird. I love the pose it is in as well,very different. They sure can bend their neck up! Very nice shot of this Heron!

Having never seen one of these, I find this to be extremely impressive. it is amazing the way everything is built and equipped to seek to survive the life it has been given. Fantastic close up! Your details are excellent and the head itself and the neck have a design that is beautiful. Really well done!

This is certainly an interesting side profile shot of this heron. I like the sharpness of the beak, the intensity of the eye, and the curvature of the neck. As always, the focus is very sharp.
