A lovely close-up portrait. You have retained all the detail and kept the colouring looking natural. The sunflower seeds look a bit odd,I assume they are falling out of the beak but give the impression of being added later and not been placed correctly,which I don't think is the case but do give that impression. Mitch

Great close up of the Cardinal; the detail in the feathers is something I have never seen before. Good work. I too enjoy the birds, a male and female cardinal come to the house every morning. At 1st they were skittish, now they take peanuts just inches away from me.
