This is a great capture of the heron with it's meal. Talking about being at the right place at the right time. Good timing. I like the way he has his wings spread. Nicely composed with good focus and detail. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

you caught this one just right,and so did he,good entry for the contest,good detail in the bird,a tad central in the frame,but its a well seen and taken photo,so only minor detail,good luck in the contest.

Nice idea here but it is not well executed. The heron seems to be overworked and not sharp and crisp as it should be. The heron seems to blend in with the background without the strong contrast that is needed. Thanks
