Good composition, the image has excellent sharpness and good colors. Apparently flash was used on this one and apparently it caused the piece of food in her mount to be over exposed and capture too much attention. Nice eye catching, excellent uniform and contrasting background.
Would suggest somehow toning down the bit of food to remove if from being the center of attraction.

What a beautiful Macro shot. You have captured so many details right down to the feathers under the beak and the rest of the head. Sunflower seed looks a bit washed out, but the rest of the photo makes up for it...can certainly tell he's eating a seed.
