This is so interesting and quite lovely. At first look I thought the edges were made of plastic or metal, they looked so substantial .
Your image is quite sharp. I love the color and the light is striking. The small reflections do tell us these are indeed bubbles and the vignette works extremely well here, serving to really highlight the subject.

You sure got outstanding light with unbelievable sharpness. It is hard to realize that the BG is the water. One of the best still life that I have seen in a long time. It sure sounds like you had a wonderful time with it.
