All I can say is wow, what a great picture. This is professional looking. Fantastic focus with sharp detail. Rich colors. Great composition. She is a bit of a messy eater thought..LOL. Well done.

I wonder who could be the creator behind this great shot. LOL I am really amazed by the clarity of this photo, and how bright and shiny the eye of the Cardinal appears. Still I should not be surprised at all, because mot of your bird photos are outstanding. I am not allowed to give higher than 5 for this one though.
Your focus is pin sharp showing lovely details in the feathers. The red beak is really standing out, and I like how the remains of sunflower seed is still hanging on. Use of light is excellent, and the subdued green background is just perfect.
The placement of the bird within the frame works well, and the tight cropping is perfect. This is a lovely close up of a female Cardinal and I wish you luck with the contest.
