Love the eye and even in pencil there is life in that eye. You did a wonderful job on this image. I know it is a cat, but not your everyday house cat, It seems to have more of a lion quality or some thing big. What amazes me is that you captured all that in just the eye and nose.

Another very effective one. So far I like the golden boy and the frog one the best and I think the idea of having these for sale at the exhibition is a really good one. You have certainly illustrated 'intensity' very well in this.

Excellent drawing from an artist stand point. It has great modulation, excellent shading, which accentuates the highlight in the brow and nose. Not mention it comes cross as a real to life look. Very realistic drawing Lucien.

I'm guessing that's Lancaster CA. I was born in Lancaster PA so it caught my eye. Anyway, this is very good, I love the way you can see the rods in the eye (or is it the cones that are visable?...I never could keep that straight).
The white space is great and you managed to do something that I am no good at...You managed not to overwork it.
A skill I hope to master some day. Great Job.

Strong image and really pulls you in. Looks like this "Cat?" is peering through a door. Kind of unnerving because you can really see the wildness in its eyes and wonder if you are its next meal.

Very nice I love the simplicity of this and the detail is wonderful. Very well balanced and leaves you with a bit of curiousity of the other side. Love the detail of the eye you can feel the mood created.
