This certainly would catch the eye and make the recipient read the announcement.Really well presented and great colors.I have thought of you lately as I try to convince my grand daughters boy friend to get deeper into his art.He is fantastic with the pencil. He has had problems with school work all of his life but put an artist tablet in his hand and he says every thing he would ever need to say.He has a lot of work that starts as a doodle of sorts but turns into a beautiful thing. He has been looked at by tatoo artists for design but I think he can go bigger and better than that ! He rarely works with people but he did one of my 4 yr old Grandson that is awesome.I only wish I knew where to point him to get more from his abilities.

You certainly have the creative edge! Right away you read From The Depths and the font you chose has the eeerrriiieee feeling to it. You have the moon so there's no question which way you are going. The different hues of blue are pleasing and denoting depth, I think. Love the little fish with his bubbles and I think it's an octupus? Interesting how you have the tentacles in full interest of the sphere...plant inside? Can't tell from this pic. Very cool! Annie

    Annie,
The sphere is holding the logo, the birth of the idea, the tentacles are part of the brain where the idea "From the Depths" sprang and they are holding up for all to see. The rest represents the depths of the ocean, the brain and the universe (space).
Thanks for the review, I hope my explanations makes looking at the image even more interesting.
Have a great day and cheers!

Ahhhhh sooooo. ok, I understand now. Sometimes we can "see" but it's not always what the artist "sees". Thanks for the explanation. Annie

I like the very glowing blue color, as it is vivid and has a powerful expression. The overall view never really appeals to me. I can't tell you what I miss. But I can tell that you have put a lot of time and energy in to it.

Very eyecatching image Lucien. I enjoyed the colors that you presented and liked that you included a bit of red, the all important marketeers attraction tool. Your work on lighting is excellent and the detail good. Its personal, but I think your selection of fonts is a bit old hat and the moon (maybe necessary to depict space?) competes for attention with the central orb. Still doesnt detract from your artwork being excellent. Keep it coming, looking forward to seeing more!

    StRyCh9,

Idea behind the card was from the depths of the ocean, the bottom of the card...
next from the depths of the human mind, the brains morphed into the tenticales, cradling the orb which shows the birth of SSP (their symbol) and then from the depths outer space, the planet and star in the upper corner. the idea was for the eye to travel back and forth throught the image having the orb be the focal point where everything comes back to teh center, including the viewers eye.
anyway, more then you wanted to know I'm sure! thanks for the review.
    Cheers!

Very well done. I really apreciate your talent and the way you use it for advertiving. I did advertizing for the sheep and wool convention. and some of the suppliers and wool artists a few years ago. Put I only did a few 5 or so. This is very well layed out and eye catching. Thanks for sharing, suz
