Another winner James. It amazes me how your watercolors look so much like your pencil on vellum drawings. Not quite sure what's going on with the subject's skirt. Folds look a bit blurry and could use more contrast with the background colors you've chosen.

Jesuel, this is really a cool painting! Love the look you gave her and it fits the rest of her to a tee. Reminds me of Carmen in the opera a bit. It's been in my head for a week now. lol Love the way you pushed her shoulder forward. Her outfit is great and her hair really is great in contrast. Background is great and amazing how you made it the same as her dress. Her shoes are great. Is that a rose next to the shoes? Jesuel, are you watercoloring over faint pencil lines? I mean, are you painting and not drawing now? Just curious. It's a great watercolor! Keep going! Annie

This is incredible story telling. Amazing attention to details for a master piece of art work. I do appreciate the time and talent it takes to create such a grand picture.

I really like your lady in this watercolor experimental art. She is an attractive plus sexy woman. She has on an alluring dress and very high heels. This scene may indicate that it might get her into trouble. Her facial expression to me is one of distrust of whom ever she is looking at. There, too, is a little bit of fear in her eyes. Her body language tells me she is not relaxed, yet ready to get up and defend herself. You have definitely done a wonderful job on her skin tones. I think it is a challenge to do watercolors and you really paint with it well. Last, but not least, the background enhances the overall effect of creating an emotional mood to the viewer. Really well done. Oh, my husband just walked by and said, "What an outstanding picture." I said, "Yes, it is!"

James, I like your aggressive approach to watercolor. You lay down strokes with a high level of confidence. Most watercolors are soft and pastelish, your paintings are more "in your face". It is a style that is filled with bold expressions. Watercolor can be very unforgiving..I know, I tried. It is more of a statement of creative freedom where hesitation and doubt can result in a sea of watery mud. You seem to have it all together. Russ

Great colors and impressionistic flare to your watercolor work. You've given a lot of genuine character to you subject. Very nice painting indeed.

Very atmospheric painting, with all the various dark colouring. Nice pose, with interesting angles, to create a balanced picture. Thanks for sharing, B
