Getting the kind of detail you wanted in the trees with watercolors is, to say the lease, daunting. And you did exactly that - bravo.
The edge fade out adds a dream like impression to the composition. Another good reason for using watercolors.

This is beautiful!!! I love the gentle pastel colours you used, they are very calming. You created nice depth with your shading and composition. The balance adds to this beautiful scene, it almost seems like a fairy tale, it tells a lovely story. I can see why it has done so well. Thank you for sharing

I like how the trees spiral in their direction. I really gives the photo a sense of movement. I like the muted colors here and how they are very well balanced, so that the image can be seen both as a whole and still seeing multiple elements here that seem to all have equal importance. The pinkish brown hues of the earth go very well with their opposites, the greens in the trees.

Lovely watercolor and composition. Interesting tree shapes, nice colors, and you did a fine job with them. The dog is lovely, as is the water she is drinking from (?). What is that by her? The fence is lovely. Thanks for sharing. I like the picture from this chapter.

Many thanks, Glena for your lovely review. This was near a beach in New Zealand where my daughter used to live - I used to go and stay for six months with them. This was a clear water pool. The trees had amazing shapes and that was a log at the edge.
