Very nice piece of work. I love the colors, they have a calming effect. The trees are perfect, I like the twists in them you were talking about in your notes. Nice job.

Very nice watercolor with excellent since of depth and scale. The tree and dog really anchor you and the branches point you to the fence and tree that take you though and deep into the woods. Well done

The trees are the one thing that caught my eye first. The twisted trees on the left seem to point the way up the path. The fence also helps lead the eye there. Dog in the foreground adds extra interest to the shot. Colors are wonderful and blend well together for an really nice painting. Good shadow and highlighting throughout. Well done. Love it.

Many thanks again. It was on another beach in NZ and the trees were what made me want to have a go at painting it with Polly, of course.
