Suzanne,

Beautiful painting that has me wondering what the story is with the child following the adult down the path in the rain. It's mysterious.

Thank you for sharing with FanStory.

Congratulations! This is a wonderful painting. You have captured the rain in the mood and colors of the painting. Just like a child, doesn't seem to care about rain, skipping behind!

This is really moving. in more than one way
The actual piece has a momentive movement by the path and stone wall that moves the eye toward the horizon
-love the reflections and shadows in the watery ground
Love the colour harmony - Very kool that the small figure following the larger figure on the path towards the light .. nice work really nice
wish i had a higher rating left cause i would have given it

Of course that represents the rain! I love the reflections and the drops that fall of the roof, like the fence of stones, and the sun wanting shine between the clouds of background. Beautiful job. Good luck.

Really like this artwork. Colors and contrast, and details all blend well with a very nice point of interest. It captures the weather in a transition period to me. Rain, but maybe ending soon. Very well done.

wonderful painting of the characters walking in the rain...I like the mood of the sky...just about to clear up but still storminess in the periphery...soft hiitops and nice stoine architecture to the path...nice painting style..well done Suzanne...thanks for reviving

Think it looks more like rain and water on the ground than coming from the sky because dont see streaks but could very well just not see them on here. They people are obviously in raincoats and galoshes/boots. Nice treatment of the stone fe nce and building.

The figure so draw the eye to a focal point just right of center., just enough out of focus to not have to detail the rock walls, this does look wet, yet not during but just after a shower, love the cloud break up suggesting the hint of sunshine across the green landscape

I can almost smell the rain! A fantastic oil painting. I think it's typical of the watery sun above the hills. Nice job on the wet stone walls and slight reflections in the wet road, and the two figures walking in the rain. The childs' red coat and wellies give a nice pop of colour to lift the overall painting..
