Very typical to find the pets nearest the heat!
Unusual texture for oils, I thought at first it was pastel. Good effects, shadows and feeling of heat from the wood burner. Thanks for sharing. B

I love the texture in this painting and the fine detail work that you have created here from top to bottom. Great composition and extra care is taken to warm up the cat. She loves the heat. Good work

Color 4
Content 5

Composition 4
Additional Comments: Each element is rendered as if separate from the the context of the painting. One could easily not have one of elements in the painting and it would not affect the image. There appears to be no unity overall. Colors and composition need work. I do like the painting in its subject matter and thought.Maybe some glazing or toning down of the back wall would help focus on the animals?

A nice looking piece of work.... The composition works very well and the colors all work well together. I think the perspective is off some... Still nice work. Jerry

You are very good at drawing in good perspective and form. Your cat has a cozy curled up pose, and your dog's pose looks like he is expecting you to walk into the room. Nice job.

This is great all i need is a rocking chair, a cup of coffee and some slippers and I would fit right in with this painting. I love the details of the cat and odg giving off the sense of comfort and relaxation. You have done very well with this piece and hope to see more from you! Thank you!
