Nice warm and cozy feeling in this artwork. In this image I see my own cat and dog relaxing by the warm fire. Thank you for sharing.

Looks like a very cosy place to be. notice the cat is nearest the fire. They never can have to much heat. Love the terracota and coral tones. Very warm. Jenny

LOL. I really liked this one. Reminds me of home too. Couldn't get near the stove to warm frozen toes. You certainly captured it all with this one.

Beautiful work, this looks much like my house on a cold day.
You have put so much into this painting but it in no way looks crouded
The colors are all soft and soothing and the sleeping or resting animals lend the whole an air of peace and restfullness.
The burning fire looks very real and adds to the look of comfort already established.
Thank you for sharing.

Ahhhh this is such a lovely painting!! Think you did a great job here with painting the warmth more from the tranquility that the animals feel comfortable enough to just stretch out, relax and sleep. lol Love the pose you did for Raki. That's so typical. The dog is done well and have the sense of his having a long collie-like coat and he's interested in something....probably someone in the kitchen! lol Really like how you painted the wood stove! Was it difficult for you to get the perspective down? Can see where you added the shade and the line along the wall to give it depth. Same with the pipe going up. Think that is so cool. Really feels away from the wall. The rod on the right is great with the shadow on the floor/wall and a lovely look to the basket with the wood. In front, think you did a great job showing that roaring fire as the wood catches fire. Love the tile work and can imagine how toasty warm it is for the animals. Like how you did the wood floor as well. Real fine brush I imagine. Wall color is lovely. Great job Suzanne and Good Luck. Annie...really a lovely painting!

You would think this was a scene from our house too Suzanne. Our dogs and cat all clamour to get in front of the wood burner. For some strange reason it seems to make a house more homely when pets are laid in front of the fire. So I think this is a great entry for the contest, good luck with it. K.

This piece of art is so pieceful!! I can almost feel the heat off the fire and hear the snoring animals in their peaceful sleep! I like the colors used here and the way you have managed to make the fire look so real as if it is really glowing. Great composition and wonderful feeling and emotion this brings to your viewers.

How very darling! I absolutely love the completely natural feel to this. Love the flowing compositional formation of this. You have done a spectacular job of designing this with great style. Really enjoy the blending and toning you have so skillfully achieved. Absolutely stunningly beautiful!
