Art can look blurry as far as I can remember. You even put in a reflection for those photographers. Nothing like a border collie for a companion.

Many thanks for your great review. Much appreciated.

Wow, Kohi look extremely happy, but then again most dogs look pretty happy most of the time. Great use of colours for the sand, that bit of purple and blue really adds something.
Is it just me or do you have a lot of pets?

Many thanks, Mike, for your great review. Yes, I'm at present staying with my daughter in NZ and we have 4 cats, one dog and 6 chooks!

He certainly looks in fine form from this picture. Great job on his playful posture and including the foreground reflection was a lovely touch. Thanks for sharing.

This is an attractive image. You have used the most wonderful colour combinations and the composition is very good indeed. I particularly like the movement of the dog running on the beach. I'd like to have seen the main subject positioned slightly more off centre

Beautiful painting of the dog at the beach. I love the naturalness of this artwork of yours. The dog looks like he's having fun enjoying the beach. Soft pastels worked well, blends and tones did as well. Wonderful artwork.

This is lovely, like the soft color tones with this one, the dog running down the beach, such a sad story , but at least he is lucky to have found you, very nice to view, well done..Brian

I for one enjoy the soft feel to this and the total coloration, reflection of your composition. Shows real action as Kohi prances in the water and has movement. Composition is very well balanced and feels very impressionistic. Thanks so much and well done.

What a great painting and Kohi looks like he is extremely happy and so thankful for the life you have given him. The colors you have added makes it feel all cozy and warm and into the great days of summer. The hills behind him are beautiful and looking like great adventures to be explored. The water is such a blend of cool colors all using each other along with the pretty white caps Pretty blue sky bring this all together for pretty foot steps of Kohi.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I'm glad you like it as I'm not very experienced with pastels so it was a bit of an experiment!
