I loke the position of the cat that you have created here! The colors of the background and the cat really offset each other and make this a very interesting piece to view. This cats eyes are beautiful and full of life! I alos like the detail that you put into the texture of the fur on this cat. Thank you for sharing this.

This is so cute! Your use of the soft pastels is a nice effect for this. I find the image is just a bit on the dark side for viewing though. I can see that most of the detail is excellent.

This is an interesting pet drawing with plenty of wonderful detail and the composition is very good indeed. There is an issue however. I feel the image recedes into the background because the colours are too dark

Thank you for your nice comments. Yes,Raki is one of my daughter's where I'm living for the moment. I do paint most days whilst I'm in NZ. Won't be doing much when I go back to the UK at the end of June, though as I'll be looking after my granddaughter!
