Moonwillow, This almost looks like a dogwood blossom. Very beautiful, it has the look of one of those note cards from long ago when good art was on the note cards. You've done a good job here. Thanks for sharing, Love the leaves, Diane

Good creative presentation. Good color harmony. Good technique. Good depth of field. Good lighting. Good story telling ability. This is a very pretty flower with softness and elegance. The inside of the flower shows life-like fireworks-and draws the viewers' attention to it. Great job.

Your presentation is as beautiful as the rose itself. Love your detailing and the soft textures you hve created. Contrast is superb and imparts much impact. Love the composition and the nice touch that the frame adds. A pleasure to view in every way!

Love the dramatic look to this as well as the colors and composition. Only detractor I can see is that there seems to be a black halo around your subject. Fabulous job here. Another beauty

Thank you, lil, for taking the time to review this anyway. Not sure I'm seeing the black halo. Lots of black there. Whatever your seeing, it surely wasn't intentional. Thank you again for the tip.

Thank you, Katya. Yes, I do traditional art also, but haven't for quite awhile. Being on the computer nearly 24 hrs. a day because of our business, this is where I paint now. That's why I was asking if you have ever tried sprinkling salt on a wet-on-wet background for your beautiful watercolors. Thank you so much for the very positive review.

Shawn, I have no more 6s to give you. Besides, you deserve more than that. Wonderful use of light and shadow. High marks for creativity. Interesting how you did the center. Excellent! Nothing but positive, positive, positive!!
