You have certainly captured the sign well. The focus for it with the light has worked well. I might even have come closer to it as I find the background is a bit distracting.

Thank you for your kind review.
That was about so close as I could get without having a to deep angle. It's an restaurant sign what is hung crooked and high. You see in the mirrored door in thee right corner how I'm struggling. There is also not enough room to step back and zoom it in. Of course I could have cropped the picture and take the mirror out but I found it much more funny that way.

It is funny! I did not even know that was you or that was a mirror! That part is excellent!

Thank you.

Now this is a cool sign for sure. I like the way you took this one. Interesting how you see the person in the background taking a picture too. Excellent picture. Good luck in the contest.

That person in the background is not really background but me in the mirrored door trying to take the picture of a cool sign what somebody had hanged crocked and to high for that 5 feet short photographer.

Interesting subject, I think the framing lets it down a little. I like the idea of showing the bar in the mirror but maybe the angle could have been better so as not to show the photographer on this occasion

Thanks for your review. Ups, I think my whole concept didn't work for you. I found the mirror funny in relationship to the a little crooked high hanging sign. [That was the call of the contest if I understand right] I was thinking I'm little enough in there that my person doesn't matter but the people laugh about the crazy photographer without taking attention from the sign. By the way I would have to clone myself out or cut the sign tight. I have that done but the sign isn't half that funny that way. It just looks like a painting. I hope I'm not upsetting you if I don't follow your suggestion but in this case I like to stick to my concept.

Thanks for your your review but could you explain what it mean. Did your review mean the photo or the painted sign? I can't get better if I don't understand what is wrong: for example what is wrong with the creativity or with the color. Please help.

You have a very colorful and unusual picture, with strong initial impact, and an interesting subject.
I find the angle strange. Was the original painting hung that crooked, or did you place the painting over another photo? I can't understand the angle.

Thank you for your kind review. Yes that painting is hung that crooked and it's very high and hard to photograph since there is not much room to step back. The Painting is a restaurant Sign. The photo is original. There is nothing added, No Mixed Media involved it all. If you look in the mirror in right lower corner there is a reflection of myself trying to catch this photo somehow. The strange angle is caused by the circumstances but I liked it because I was thinking it's funny as the advertisement itself. Beside it I have to admit: I like to baffle people sometimes - sorry I can't help myself.

Hello Heidi. This is an interesting image. I think it is a lot more interesting than it would be if you had just left the poster itself, but having the mirror reflecting you taking the picture adds a twist to this compositon. I like the attractive colors and I think the subject matter is interesting. Way to go.

I remember, years gone by, blackbeard. This is rather humourous and enjoyable to look at so that we can get a laugh now and then. I don't always like to be serious. This is very funny. Our imagination can run wild when looking at something like this. lol. Great focus and angle shot. Thank you

Thank you so much for your generous and kind review. Yes I taught so to: It's funny. It's an restaurant sign. We are going wild here with the pirates. The are here so popular as the Renaissance Festivals elswere. Wonder? No, we live in the Caribbean.
