Smudge looks like our old Lucky, ecept he wasnt as fluffy. we miss him and our other cats;( but they had a good life.
i think ive seen this cat drawing on a website.
love the eyes on the painting,fur,and the ears.lovly art.

Wow - What a little big cutie we have here - round as a ball but that's because of the fur - hmm.. he would almost disappear in size if he take a shower of course LOL Now, when I took another look at him - he has a nasty expression in his eyes - but I may be wrong - he must be happy when rescued so it must be because he isn't use to be brushed ( a male thing the hygiene comment, I agree with you there lol)

Are you implying that males are not as hygienic as we should be? lol
This is a really interesting pastel. The cat is just a big fluff ball and I really do like the placement in the frame. At first I thought it was a bit to much of a tip to the left but after looking for a bit the perspective is just right. Nice eyes .. Enjoyable art to see...Dennis

What a lovely tribute to this kitty. You have certainly captured a personality here. He looks like a lazy, pampered fella and I don't blame him for having poor hygiene if it gets him all that extra attention of being brushed by his person. LOL
