Not only is this boy having fun, but you just caught an excellent action shot. Great "freezing" stopping him still with the water splashes around his head and coming up for a quick gulp of air. Like the beautiful color of the water, great focus and an awesome contest entry.

That is a great picture of Luke. He looks as though he is having real fun in the water. You have good color harmony and contrast in this picture. The light is just right.

This is great and the water so magnificently gloriously colorful. Enticing and I want to jump in and swim. He looks like he is working hard at swimming and having a ball. Well done with this one. Great angle shot

Thank you so much for your kind review. Yes he was having lots of fun and yes he was working hard. He was racing against his brother and an older girl.

What great color of the pool, and a lovely child.

The blue water in the pool is very nice and really makes the photo have a cooling effect, even though it must be hot in real life. Your subject is good and clear as your focus really brings his movement and personaility through in this shot.

I do think that it would have been a little better if you were to zoom a little more in on the child or is you zoomed out a little to capture some of the surrounding environment, or even people.

This is a great summertime shot and thank you for shring.

Thank you so much for your throuought review. Actually I cropped the picture. The picture was bigger in the original showing some of the environment but it was distracting. I could have cropped tighter. I tryed that to but the picture wasn't winning in my opinion since the water splashes ad fun and movement.

Beautiful and reminiscent of the great piece of art. Color contrast shows the nice touch to the exquisite rich look to the fun image.

Great angle for this shot. Your focus and the light is good. You have captured the area in the shot well where the water is spashing up in accordance to his feet! Nicely done presenting this with good technique.

Thanks. You made my day by liking the splash. I had some reviews suggesting to crop the area of but I think the water splashing around him add to the fun.

A serene and lovely shot of a boy off in his own world and enjoying the water, cleo.

The clear, greenish/blue water is especially attractive and frames so well his small image.

The photo has a nice feeling to it. The small amount of motion and the look on his face as the small waves move him about adds a nice touch.

Thank you so much for your nice review. Yes I love the photo. That was a last minute decision. I had planned on something else but than the boys run into my camera, before my lens I should say. They had a marvellous time in sun and water after all that bad weather here. I just realised that there is a wrong title on. Must have been to tired thats the short discription. I have to change it to Fun in the Sun.

The framing is a strength, the color is rich, but the overall impact is low for me. It's a kid swimming. The "fun" doesn't quite come through for me in this shot. Having said that, it's a clean shot.

Thanks as always very much for your honest critique. I know I can't get through to you. I think that isn't the photos so much as we see thinks different and have different emotion to it. The face impression of the boy speaks to me of a lot of fun. I don't know what he is jelling but I can literally hear the joy in it. I have read that different people see pictures very different as the same picture could cause contraire emotions, as there is even a male and a female reception.
But I like your 4 better then a 6 without substantial review.
